After graduating from high school, she moved to Lloydminster, AB where she attended a year of introductory studies at Lakeland College working towards a Kinesiology degree. However, that career path changed gears when she decided to follow her creative side and applied for a Distant Learning program through SIAST Woodland's Campus in Web Design and Development. She convocated in 2009 and pursued a position with a web hosting company in Saskatoon, SK. After spending a couple years in the industry, the restless farmgirl longed for business hour life outside the office walls and applied to SIAST Palliser Campus in the Civil Engineering Technology program. Upon acceptance, she moved to Moose Jaw in 2012 and began her new journey. She convocated in 2014 and has worked in the Transportation Department for an engineering firm in Regina, SK since her co-operative work term that began in 2013. She has since earned a bachelor’s degree in Construction Management. In her spare time, she still loves to tap into her creative side by helping small businesses create or improve their web and social media presence. With a specific interest in asphalt, sports, and anything that lets her be creative, her ideal job would involve combining these worlds.

Outside of work life, she dreams of traveling to experience cooking and fishing around the world. Some of her favorite hobbies include reading, gardening, crocheting, puzzling, fishing, hunting, softball, 10k walks with her dog, kettlebell club, kickboxing, Spartan training, pistol club, and her greatest passion is cooking and entertaining!
